Description:
Description:
Information

Operations and Monitoring Report. The recruited private operator shall prepare monthly or quarterly reports for the village committee. The purpose of the report is to provide a status of the system operation over the reporting period. The report should discuss what maintenance activities were conducted and if any problems and/or failures occurred during the reporting period. Water test results, flow information, and groundwater testing results (if required) should be included in the report.

Financial Report. The recruited private operator will prepare semi-annual and annual financial reports to include information about the amount of funds recovered (via tariffs or fees) over the previous six month period, and include profit and loss statements and a balance sheet in order to track expenses. This information allows the private operator understand what the direct costs are to operate the program by tracking the expenses. This is important for the private operator to analyze the financial sustainability for the program operation, and provide recommendations for the village committees or county governments on alternative approach for funding the operation and maintenance of the wastewater systems.
