Description:
Information
The three-chamber septic tank toilet consists of a toilet room, a squat pan, a flushing equipment, and a three-chamber septic tank (Figure 3.3). The effective retention times in the septic tank are no less than 20 days and 10 days in the first and second chamber, respectively. After more than 30 days of anaerobic biodegradation, the bacteria and parasite eggs in the wastewater are killed. The treated wastewater stored in the third chamber can be used as high-quality fertilizer.
